1. Business Information

Subjects: English, Speech, and Debate
Teaching Platform: ClassIn
Lesson Format: Individual and small group lessons
2. Lesson Policies
Cancellations: Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a class; otherwise, they will be charged the full lesson fee.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling is allowed only if there is availability in the teacher’s schedule.
Refunds: No refunds are offered for missed or canceled lessons.
Make-up Lessons: Available for students who cancel more than 24 hours in advance.
3. Payment Terms
Payment Methods: Payments are made through Stripe.
Payment Schedule:
Payment is required before booking lessons.
Students can choose to pay monthly or in a larger class package.
Discounts are available for larger packages.
Late Payments: If a student does not pay on time, they may lose their reserved class time.
4. Student Expectations
Students are expected to:
✅ Respect the teacher.
✅ Complete homework before the due date.
✅ Participate actively in lessons.
5. Intellectual Property
Use of Materials: Students may not share teaching materials with others.
Referrals: Students may share a recording or picture of a lesson only as a referral.
Ownership: The teacher retains full ownership of all lesson materials, recordings, and content.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
Class Recordings: Available upon request.
Age Restrictions: No age restrictions apply to lessons.
7. Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Late Arrivals: The teacher will wait 10 minutes for a student to arrive.
No-Shows: If a student does not show up without notice, they will:
Be charged the full lesson fee.
Lose their lesson for that day.
8. Dispute Resolution
A free 15-minute English proficiency assessment is provided before committing to long-term lessons.
A personalized learning plan is created for each student to ensure expectations are clear.
Complaints, refund requests, or disagreements will be handled on a case-by-case basis through direct communication with the teacher.
9. Legal & Liability
Technical Issues: The teacher is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side, including internet failures, device malfunctions, or software issues.
Missed Lessons Due to Technical Issues: If the student cannot attend due to technical problems on their end, the full class fee will still apply.
Liability Limitations:
The teacher does not guarantee any specific academic outcomes (e.g., exam scores, fluency level within a set timeframe).
The teacher is not liable for any misinterpretation of content, missed lessons due to student-side technical difficulties, or external disruptions beyond the teacher’s control.
